Welcome to The Watered Root
Welcome to The Watered Root, the ministry home of Pastor Steven Boyer — though around here, most people simply call him Pastor Steve.
This ministry was created with a single purpose: to help people grow deep roots in Christ. Whether you're seeking biblical guidance, navigating life’s difficult questions, preparing for marriage, or simply wanting to draw closer to God, this is a place where you’ll be met with compassion, truth, and encouragement.
Pastor Steve has a genuine heart for people. His journey in ministry has been shaped by real-life experience, pastoral care, and years of theological study. He completed the coursework for an Associate of Chaplaincy and a Bachelor of Divinity through Christian Leaders College, spent time studying ministry and theology through Dallas Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity through Liberty University’s Rawlings School of Divinity. His passion is simple — to serve, to shepherd, and to point people to the hope found in Jesus Christ.
But titles and training aren’t what define this ministry.
At its core, The Watered Root is about relationship — your relationship with God, your growth as a disciple, and the steady, soul-deep transformation that only Christ can bring. Pastor Steve’s teaching and pastoral care come from a place of humility, authenticity, and a deep desire to walk with people through every season of life.
Whether you're here looking for biblical answers, premarital counseling, prayer, or a place to grow in faith, we’re truly glad you’re here.
