Marriage is more than a ceremony. It is a sacred covenant designed by God, shaped by Scripture, and strengthened by the grace of Christ. My heart is to help couples begin this journey with clarity, unity, and a strong biblical foundation.

As a certified SYMBIS Facilitator, I use a combination of the SYMBIS assessment and biblical teaching to help couples prepare for marriage in a thoughtful and Christ-centered way. I believe every couple should enter marriage with a deep understanding of God’s design, their individual roles, and the tools needed for lifelong love.

Because of this, I place a high priority on premarital counseling. I do offer wedding officiating, but in most cases, I reserve that for couples who have completed premarital counseling (either with me or with another trusted pastor or program). This ensures the ceremony reflects the covenant it celebrates and the God who created it.

Premarital Counseling

SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) is a research-driven, gospel-friendly premarital tool used by counselors, pastors, and marriage coaches around the world. The assessment gives couples a clear look at their personalities, strengths, expectations, communication styles, and areas where unity can grow.

Each of you completes the online SYMBIS assessment

SYMBIS is not a “test” you pass or fail.
It is a meaningful and hope-filled preparation process that strengthens your marriage before it begins.

Wedding Officiating

Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God, and your wedding ceremony should reflect the beauty, truth, and joy of that covenant. As a pastor, my desire is to help you begin your marriage with a Christ-centered foundation and a ceremony that honors the Lord while celebrating your unique story.

Whether your ceremony is simple and intimate or surrounded by family and friends, I work closely with couples to craft a service that is meaningful, personal, and rooted in Scripture.

Premarital Counseling Requirement

Because I believe strongly in the covenant and spiritual weight of marriage, I typically officiate weddings for couples who have completed premarital counseling. This counseling may be done with me (through SYMBIS + biblical teaching) or with another trusted pastor or program.

This requirement is not meant to create a barrier, but to offer a blessing.
It ensures that your ceremony is not only beautiful, but firmly grounded in the truth that will sustain your marriage long after the wedding day.

If You Have Already Completed Premarital Counseling

If you have already gone through biblical premarital counseling elsewhere, I am happy to visit with you to determine whether officiating your ceremony would be a good fit.

Do we need to be members of a church to work with you?

No. I’m honored to help any couple who desires a Christ-centered marriage, regardless of church membership or background.

Can premarital counseling be done online?

Yes. SYMBIS can be completed online or in person, making it accessible no matter where you are located.

What if we already completed premarital counseling elsewhere?

If you’ve gone through solid, biblical premarital counseling with a pastor or trusted program, I’m happy to discuss officiating without requiring the SYMBIS process.

How early should we contact you about our wedding date?

As early as possible. Dates can fill up quickly, and premarital counseling takes time to complete well.

Do you officiate non-Christian ceremonies?

No. I only officiate ceremonies that honor Christ and reflect a biblical understanding of marriage.

Do you charge a fee?

Pricing and details are discussed during your initial conversation. My desire is to make this process accessible and helpful

for every couple.
